{"content":"<h1 class=\"text-3xl font-bold mb-6\">Terms of Service<\/h1>\n\n<p class=\"text-gray-600 mb-8\">Last Updated: April 18, 2026<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 1 (Application)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as \"Terms\") set forth the conditions for use of the Japanese online lesson service \"Japan Pal\" (hereinafter referred to as the \"Service\") provided by the Company. Registered users (hereinafter referred to as \"Users\") shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 2 (Registration)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">1. Applications for registration shall be made in accordance with the methods prescribed by the Company upon agreeing to these Terms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">2. The Company may not approve registration applications if it determines that the applicant:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-disc ml-8 mb-4 space-y-2\">\n    <li>Has provided false information in the registration application<\/li>\n    <li>Has previously violated these Terms<\/li>\n    <li>Is otherwise deemed inappropriate for registration by the Company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 3 (Management of User ID and Password)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">1. Users shall properly manage their User ID and password for the Service at their own responsibility.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">2. Users may not transfer, lend, or share their User ID and password with third parties under any circumstances.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 4 (Usage Fees and Payment Methods)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">1. Users shall pay the usage fees separately determined by the Company for using the Service.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">2. If a User delays payment of usage fees, they shall pay late payment damages at a rate of 14.6% per annum.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 5 (Lesson Reservations and Cancellations)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">1. Users may make lesson reservations through methods prescribed by the Company.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">2. Lesson cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson start time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">3. For cancellations made after the specified time, tickets will not be refunded.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 6 (Prohibited Actions)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">Users shall not engage in the following actions when using the Service:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-disc ml-8 mb-4 space-y-2\">\n    <li>Actions that violate laws or public order and morals<\/li>\n    <li>Actions related to criminal activities<\/li>\n    <li>Actions that infringe on intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy, honor, or other rights or interests of the Company, other Users, or third parties<\/li>\n    <li>Actions that may interfere with the operation of the Service<\/li>\n    <li>Unauthorized access or attempts thereof<\/li>\n    <li>Collecting or accumulating personal information about other Users<\/li>\n    <li>Other actions deemed inappropriate by the Company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 7 (Suspension of Service)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">1. The Company may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to Users if it determines that any of the following circumstances exist:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list-disc ml-8 mb-4 space-y-2\">\n    <li>When performing maintenance, inspection, or updates of the computer system for the Service<\/li>\n    <li>When provision of the Service becomes difficult due to force majeure such as earthquakes, lightning, fire, power outages, or natural disasters<\/li>\n    <li>When the Company otherwise determines that provision of the Service is difficult<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 8 (Disclaimer)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">The Company shall not be liable for any transactions, communications, or disputes that arise between Users and other Users or third parties in connection with the Service.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 9 (Changes to Service Content)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">The Company may change the content of the Service or discontinue the provision of the Service without notice to Users, and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users as a result.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 10 (Changes to Terms of Service)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">The Company may change these Terms at any time without notice to Users when deemed necessary. Users who begin using the Service after changes to these Terms shall be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 11 (Handling of Personal Information)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">The Company shall appropriately handle personal information obtained through the use of the Service in accordance with the Company's \"Privacy Policy.\"<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"text-2xl font-semibold mt-8 mb-4\">Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4\">2. Any disputes arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company's head office.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"text-center mt-8 font-semibold\">End<\/p>"}
